What to prepare for a packaging machine enquiry
Prepare product, bag and site details, then confirm the proposed configuration, price terms, lead time and support before you approve a purchase.
Start with the product and target pack
Describe the product and the pack you want to make. Include clear product photographs and, if available, a photograph or drawing of the finished bag. Give the full model name if you have one in mind, including any YT or H suffix.
Describe the filling requirement
State the target fill weight for each pack size and your required output in bags per minute. List different weights separately, and distinguish your target from any result already tested on your own equipment.
The VP and VP-YT catalogue pages state that output depends on the product, fill weight, bag size and film. Include all four details so the published speed range can be discussed under the conditions for your application.
Give bag dimensions and film details
Include the following pack details:
- Bag width and length in millimetres, with a drawing if the measurement points need explanation.
- Required bag type. The catalogue shows pillow bags and chain bags; ask about any other format separately.
- Film width and the film specification you use or plan to use, if known.
- Any pack sizes or film details that are still undecided.
Explain the equipment and delivery scope
Give the machine quantity, destination country and delivery location. Provide the available installation space and the site's electrical supply for review.
If you already have weighing or dosing equipment, describe it. The VP catalogue lists four optional dosing arrangements, while VP-YT combines multihead weighing and bagging. Ask which equipment is proposed for your product and pack.
Check the starting-price scope on the product pages: VP320 is a bare machine; VP420, VP520, VP-420H and VP-520H cover the main machine only. VP320-YT and VP420-YT include integrated weighing. External equipment is quoted by configuration.
Request a proposal you can check
Ask for the proposed model, complete configuration, operating conditions and price terms in writing, including currency, freight, tax and quotation validity.
For main packaging machines, the typical lead time is 30 days and the warranty is 1 year. Support is remote online guidance; on-site installation and commissioning are not provided. Confirm your project schedule and the warranty start and detailed coverage in the written quotation. List any remaining questions before you approve a purchase.
